The Spring 2025 theme, “Mental Health Through the Lens of an Integrated Care Model,” promises to foster discussions about integrated care models that effectively address mental health needs within diverse populations. We will explore the intersectionality of gender identity, societal norms, and cultural norms within female experiences of DGBIs.
This presentation will examine the impact of multiple chronic medical conditions affecting emotional and cognitive functioning in older adults, including diabetes, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and depression.
We will discuss the advantages and challenges of working in a collaborative and/or integrative care model of service delivery, with important events contributing to the evolution of clinical psychology in integrated medical and hospital settings.
This session will explore the practical implementation of the collaborative care direct model for mental health private pay providers and direct primary care providers.
We will delve into the role of clinical psychologists and neuropsychologists within interdisciplinary teams that include physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals.
This presentation will provide insights on social determinants of health and their implications for clinical psychology.
We will explore an innovative model for trauma-informed caregiving practices tailored for BIPOC communities.
